Defenders of human rights have challenged government to hastily address concerns of state prosecutors to avert abuse of rights prisoners. Prosecutors have been on strike since last month over low pay.
This was after after high court directed prisons authorities to halt presenting of criminal suspects to court pending a conclusive resolve to the state attorney’s strike.
