Uganda and South Africa are set to enjoy better trade relations following the signing of two agreements.
The agreements were signed from statehouse Entebbe following discussions between officials from Uganda and South Africa.
The agreement includes the mutual cooperation and assistance of customs agreement and the ministerial statement on trade and economic development.
The deal was signed by Finance minister, Hajat Syda Bumba and the minister of Trade, Tourism and Industry, Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire on behalf of Uganda and the South African minister of trade and Investment, Rob Davis.
