The Uganda Athletics Federation has announced that the Kampala Athletics 2nd Track & Field Trial will be held on Saturday April 10 at Makerere University.

The showcase of the meeting will be the Women’s 400 metres, which will feature three of the country’s top female runners – Mildred Gamba, Janet Achola and Agnes Aneno.

In a press release, Geoffrey Kaggwa, the Chairperson of Athletics Kampala said they are in the process of announcing the prizes that will be won in the different categories .

It is the 2nd meet this season as senior athletes aim at qualifying for senior championship in Nairobi early this year.

The competition is expected to attract Clubs, schools, institutions and armed forces like Police and the Uganda People’s Defense Forces who have been active participants.
