The Minister of Uganda for Agriculture, Hope Mwesigye has asked farmers to grow more food crops and mordernise agriculture.

Mwesigye also urges farmers to clear large chunks of land to enable them grow more food and cash crops.

She gave the advice while was addressing journalists at Uganda Media Centre in Kampala today.  

The minister calls for modern farming explaining that this could be done by the use of tractors and planting high quality seeds.
