Jinja Court Chief Magistrate, John F. Kaggwa has denied bail to the driver of the mini bus that rammed into a stationery taxi killing six pupils of Victoria Nile primary school at Mailo-mbili last week.

54 year old Zaidi Wokholwa, a resident of Bubulo trading centre in Manafwa district was denied bail because the fate of his case is yet to be defined given the fact that the sixth victim of the accident died late last week.

Wokholwa is currently on remand at Kirinya prison on charges of manslaughter, driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving among others.

Magistrate Kaggwa has ordered him to reappear in court on May 3rd.
