The Uganda Rugby Union has received another major boast in preparation of the 8th edition of the Bamburi international rugby Super series tournament that kicks off over the weekend.

Uganda Rugby received financial boost

UAP Insurance has donated 10 million shillings towards the tournament as money meant for organization of teams in Uganda on top of the 270 million shillings from the bamburi cement.

Bamburi Cement marketing coordinator Serina Zalwango says the boast is timely because it signifies a bond between Rugby and Insurance.

The Bamburi rugby super series tournament took place on the 27th of March 2010 in all the East African Capital cities where Ugandan franchise side Rwenzori managed to reach the semi finals.
