The URA Commissioner in charge of Public Affairs, Paul Kyeyune says that the deficit in revenue collections were due to tax leakages.

Kyeyune however says the overall trend of URA revenue collections in Uganda points to growth in revenue collections compared to a number of months before March 2010.

He says URA revenue collections are disturbed by challenges of high inflation rates and fluctuation of the foreign exchange among other factors.
