Denis Obua, the former president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is dead.
Obua collapsed and died at Nakivubo stadium in Kampala central division today.
He was in the pitch training ex-internationals.
The Ex-Internationals who were in the pitch standing besides Obua say the deceased cut short his conversation complaining of a sudden chest pain and he collapsed.
Obua was rushed to Bai health center in Old Kampala but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The doctors at Bai hospital say that Obua suffered a heart attack.
Obua ruled FUFA for five years from 1998 to 2004. He is also the former President of CECAFA from 2002 to 2008.
The President of FUFA, Lawrence Mulindwa says it is so depressing for the country to lose an experienced sportsman who was offering valued services to Ugandan football players at different levels.
