The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has set up a committee to handle issues of internal wrangles, which are threatening the party.
The committee is tasked to promote harmony and reconciliation among party members across the country.
The Secretary General of NRM, Amama Mbabazi says the committee will be chaired by the former Prime Minister of Uganda, Kintu Musoke.
This comes at a time when NRM is faced with a major challenge of internal wrangles that have been blamed for the election losses the party has suffered in recent by- elections in Mukono North and Mbale Municipality among other areas.
Mbabazi says the committee will visit all NRM office branches ensure harmony in the country ahead of the 2011 general elections.
Amama says the committee wants to prepare NRM supporters ahead of their party delegates conference between the 25th and 27th June.
