Hussein Kyanjo - New Uganda Jeema political party president
The President of Jeema, Hajji Kibirige Mayanja has given away party leadership to the Member of Parliament for Makindye East, Hajji Hussein Kyanjo.
Kibirige says he has chosen Kyanjo to replace him because the MP is hardworking and darling of the people.
Now the former President of Jeema says he plans to contest for Member of Parliament for Busiro East, an area currently represented by Suzan Nakawuki of Forum for Democratic Change.
Kibirige also says he has chosen to giveaway party leadership to show President Museveni that it is possible to give power to somebody else and life continues.
Hajji Kibirige said this on Tuesday while opening the third annual delegates’ conference of Jeema. The conference is taking place in Rubaga division, Kampala.
The outgoing president of Jeema says leaving power is possible and democratic. Kyanjo by the time Ultimate Media filed this report was still unopposed for the post of party president
