The Democratic Party has announced it hold it’s national council meeting on Friday 11th June 2010.
According to a statement from DP Spokesperson, Mwaka Emmanuel Lutukumoi, the Council will assess the party’s 100 days programme after the party election that took place in Mbale.
Mwaka says the Council meeting will also undertake strategic planning for 2011 Uganda generla elections campaigns.
The Council is the party’s second top organ after the Delegates conference that attracts representatives from all parts of Uganda.
The DP Council meeting will also approve the DP National Executive Council stand on the Inter Party Coalition (IPC).
The DP NEC refused to join the IPC which brings together Uganda’s key opposition political parties.
