The bayimba performance of 2009

The 2010 Bayimba International Festival of Music Arts is set to take place from Septemeber 17th to September 19th 2010 at the National Theatre in Kampala Uganda.

Prior to the festival, workshops will be held between 1st and 16th September for all those interested in participating at the music festival to prepare them for their perfomances at the festival.

According to a statement from the organizers, the deadline for applying to participate in the workshops for those that will put up performances at the festival is 30th June 2010 and all those interested in participating in the festival can apply to participate before that date.

The festival is an annual event organised by the Bayimba Cultural that brings together music artists, poets, fine artists and people from other kinds of arts to showcase their talent to world at the festival.

The festival is sponsored by HiVOS and Stiching Doen and entrance will be free of charge to members of the public.
