Uganda local musicians, Grace Nakimera and Joseph Mayanja alias Dr. Jose Chameleon are set to reach at an out of court settlement over a case filed by Chameleon accusing Nakimera for using his name to promote her concert.

Chameleon recently dragged, Nakimera to Kampala’s Mengo magistrate’s court for allegedly using his name to promote her Kampala show without Chameleon’s consent.

Dr. Chameleon who was performing in Mubende district the same day Nakimera held her concert says using his name damaged his reputation.

Nakimera whose hit song Kawonawo is so popular in Uganda, reportedly printed posters mentioning Dr. Chameleon as one of the artistes to perform at Grace Nakimera show on May 14 2010 in Kampala.

The former Uganda male artists of the year, Chameleon says that the advert fooled people who failed to turn up in big numbers at his Mubende show causing him a financial loss.
