Most sounding musicians in Uganda including Bobi Wine, Jose Chameleon, Juliana Kanyomozi, Gen. Mega Dee and Desire Luzinda are desisting from Kyadondo Rugby club following bomb blasts in which over 70 people died.
All musicians who had booked to hold their music concerts at Kyadondo called the shows off and others rescheduled the venues.
Singer Raga Dee was scheduled to launch his ‘monomove’ music album on July 16th at Kyadondo Rugby Club but he has now postponed the event. Mega Dee was also supposed to stage his ‘Ina Di Dance’ show at the same venue but he has postponed the show to September 17th and the new venue for his show is Kati Kati restaurant.
Singer Desire Luzinda has postponed her show from July to November 25th while Raga Dee to December 3rd, 2010. All singers Ultimate Media interviewed including Chameleon, Mega Dee, Juliana, Mozey Radio, Weasel TV, Fred Sebatta, Tonix, and Dr. Hilderman among others said they are mourning the people who were hit by the bombs in Kampala on July 11th.
