The Minister of Uganda for Lands, Omara Atubo has advised all Ugandans to acquire land titles for the pieces of land they occupy in a bid to stop land evictions.
He says the land whose owners don’t have land titles can easily be ‘stolen’ by unjust Ugandans who are always out for free things.
The Minister also urges Ugandans with missing land titles to get replacements from the ministry of lands. He was addressing journalists at Uganda Parliament in Kampala today.
Atubo further urges Ugandans to protect their land titles. He also says the government is hunting for people who duplicate peoples land titles.
