The cultural leader of Buruuri , one of the minority tribes in Uganda, Salongo Mwasansozi Mwogezi Butamanya has called for unity within Buganda kingdom and Uganda in general.

He has told a press conference in Nakasongola today that he was deeply saddened by the divisions in central Uganda, political institutions and disunity among all Ugandans at large.
Mwogezi Butamanya is considered as an enemy of the kingdom of Buganda since he was installed as a cultural leader of Banyala in 2005 by President Museveni.
Nakasongola, an area where Mwasansozi claims to be his kingdom is part of Buganda kingdom, a historic kingdom in modern Uganda.
