The Minister of Uganda for Trade, Tourism and Industry, Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire has urged Insurance companies in Uganda to extend their services to villages rather than concentrating in big towns.
Speaking to journalists at Parliament in Kampala today, Otafiire said the people in villages found in rural areas want to access insurance services but most Insurance Companies fear to invest their money in remote areas.
The tough talking General further urges the Insurance Companies in Uganda to look national in character by extending their services to rural areas.
