The Department of International Relations at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (subject to final budgetary approval). Area of specialization: * **International Relations of Africa*. The department seeks scholars of comparative or regional African politics, diplomatic history, political economy, and/or Africa’s role in global politics. Specialized knowledge of issue areas such as development, governance, transnational crime and terrorism, public health, and public policy is desirable.
Position requires commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as research. Publications and teaching experience required. Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment.
