Minister tells graduates to go back to school

The Minister of Uganda for Trade and Industry, Maj. Gen. Otafiire has asked graduates in Uganda to go back to school and acquire more skills and knowledge, especially in practical courses.

Speaking to journalists in Kampala today, the Minister said the government has no jobs to graduates who lack practical skills.

Some of the practical courses are mechanics, catering, tailoring, carpentry, agriculture and building among others. Otafiire says graduates with practical skills don’t take long to get jobs.

He further says that Uganda has few jobs. The Minister adds that the few jobs which are available in the government wait for graduates with practical skills.
