Government has been urged to integrate school drop outs into Uganda government education programmes.
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga has made the call in Kampala today while speaking to over 20 trainees attending a leadership building camp organized by Forum for Women in Development.
Kadaga noted that several schools under the Universal Primary Education and Universal Secondary Education programmes continue to reject school drop outs, especially girls who dropped out years ago hence denying them an opportunity to get educated.
She reveals that together with other women groups, they are lobbying the Ministry of Education and Sports to come up with a policy that will cater for such people, who are in dire need of education services.
