The Catholic Church in Uganda is preparing a mass wedding for its followers in Kampala, Wakiso and the nearby districts.

The massive wedding will take place on Sunday August 22nd at Masajja St. Pius Catholic Church, in Wakiso. The function will be presided over by the Archbishop of Kampala Catholic Archdiocese, Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
This is the second mass wedding to be conducted by the Catholic Church in Masajja since 2008.
The first wedding attracted 20 couples. However this second wedding is expected to attract 34 couples. Dr. Lwanga has today urged all believers in Jesus Christ to opt for church marriages.
