Bettty Kamya says FDC leaders hate advice

The MP for Lubaga North, Betty Kamya has said she has no regrets for having crossed over from the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) to Uganda Federal Alliance.

Betty Kamya to stand for President

Kamya says FDC leaders do not take advice. She was addressing a press conference at the head offices of Uganda Federal Alliance in Katwe, a Kampala suburb today.

Kamya, who is also a former envoy in charge of the office of the FDC president, says before she quit FDC she used to advise the party to be transparent and they would refuse.

She says the leader of FDC, Col. Kiiza Besigye wanted to rule the party for life. Kamya is one of the founders of FDC.

Kamya says political parties like the Democratic Party might perform better in 2011 general elections than FDC because its leaders hate to receive positive advice.

Kamya has herself declared intentions to stand for President in the 2011 General elections, although she says winning the elections is not her major goal but to sell her federal system of governance to Ugandans.
