The management of Mulago Hospital has urged Ugandans always to collect the bodies of their relatives, in laws and friends on time.

The Executive Director of Mulago Hospital, Dr. Edward Ddumba has said many times people die at Mulago Hospital and their relatives fail to collect the bodies.

He says other bodies are taken to Mulago by Uganda Police. But still those bodies sometimes are not collected. The Executive Director was briefing members of the press at Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala today.

Ddumba says it is expensive for the hospital to burry heaps of unclaimed bodies in cemeteries.

Many people in Uganda have been complaining all along that they fail to collect their bodies from Mulago Hospital because the mortuary attendants over charge them.
