UNEB warns against examination malpractice

The Executive Secretary of Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB), Mathew Bukenya has warned schools, PLE, O and A-level candidates against engaging in examination malpractice.

Bukenya said this today while addressing a press conference at the headquarters of Uganda National Examination Board in Ntinda Kampala.

He has said that the Uganda National Examination Board has released examination timetables and calendars for the 2010 Primary Leaving Examinations, Uganda Ordinary Certificate of Education and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education on time such that all candidates revise their notice and get prepared for exams.

He says the national examination body will not hastate to cancel examination results of any candidate or candidates who will be found guilty of examination malpractice.
Bukenya says PLE, O and A-level candidates will be briefed from November 1st to November 12th, 2010.

He says PLE candidates will write their exams from November 2nd to 3rd, O-level on October 18th to November 23rd, while A-level candidates will sit their examinations from November 12th to December 3rd, 2010.
