Mulago National Referral Hospital has discharged all July 11th bomb victims. The Executive Director of Mulago National Referral Hospital, Dr. Edward Ddumba has said the last batch of the bomb victims were discharged a couple of weeks back.
Mulago Hospital received a total of 57 bomb victims, five of them died on arrival; three were admitted in intensive care, while one person died while undergoing surgery.
Ddumba has thanked the doctors, members of the public, the government of Uganda, members of the donor community, Uganda Red Cross among others who stood with the hospital during the time the bomb victims were admitted at Mulago.
The bomb blasts took place at the Ethiopian Village Kabalagala and Kyadondo Rugby Club in Kampala on July 11th killing over 70 people and scores injured.
