Kisekka market has been gutted by fire today morning forcing hundreds of traders to shed tears. The fire has destroyed vehicle spare parts worth million of shillings and burnt over 45 shops according to police.
The Spokesperson of Police for Kampala Metropolitan Police, Ibin Senkumbi has told journalists at the Central Police Station in Kampala Central Division that the inferno could have been caused by a short circuit.
Senkumbi also says police are investigating reports that the inferno could have been the work of an arsonist. The traders have also blamed Uganda police for failing to produce enough water to put out the ranging fire.
