The Katikiro (Prime Minister) of Buganda Kingdom Engineer John Baptist Walusimbi has urged the Baganda and everyone in Buganda region to reinstate coffee cultivation.

Walusimbi who talked to the residents of Kyabakuza in Budu county said that coffee cultivation has dwindled in the Kingdom and this has caused poverty.

He says says that of those who are well off today are sons and daughters of parents who used to grow coffee.

In a related development, the kingdom of Buganda has received 30 bursaries from HK Phones and Computers Ltd. in a bid to improve education in the Kingdom.

HK Phones and Computers Ltd. also donated 400,000/=to assist the Kingdom to repair the Kasubi tombs which were burned by unknown people.

The HK Phones and Computers Ltd. boss said that they are responding to the Kabaka’snbid for technical education and that they call upon the youths who have gone through primary seven and above to come to their institution in Katwe and have training in TV, phones and computers repairs.

HK Phones and Computers Ltd is an organization that is located in katwe in Kampala and it offers information Technology training.
