At the beginning of 2011, there was an email circulating about a New Year resolution vow that girls and women had decided to make. It stated that:

“We women of the world, solemnly swear not to date, sleep with or marry a married man. From this moment on, we shall be blind to their handsome faces, our hearts dead to their charming smiles and our womanhood frigid to their deceptive touches. We also pledge not to be lured by money meant to sustain another woman and her children.”

But can Uganda girls or rather those young 20s or 30s women ever desist from dating married men? Here is an interesting take from Uncle Sam who thinks that GIRLs (Generous Independent Romantic Lasses) enjoy the convenience of dating married men and may not be about to desist.
