The Inter-Party cooperation Presidential flag bearer Kiiza Besigye who is currently campaigning in West Nile has said that the 25 years of President Museveni on power as time wasted.

While addressing rallies in West Nile (Arua and surrounding districts) Besigye said that Museveni’s legacy shall be corruption and nepotism.
On comparing the government of Late Iddi Amin of 1971-1979 and Museveni since 1986 to date, Besigye says that he would rather be associated with Amin’s regime.
Besigye hails Amin for his developmental work of building army barracks Museveni is using for his so called professional army.
He adds that Amin constructed the International Conference Centre, Muni College, most of hospitals and government infrastructures unlike Museveni who constructs infrastructures that finish hardly a year like CHOGM roads.
He says that Museveni shall also be remembered for selling government properties that were put up by his predecessors and fake programs like NAADS he puts to benefit his people (Tukatera embundu) in a guise of Prosperity for All.
Besigye told the gatherings that if they vote him into power on 18th February he is going to transform West Nile and the whole country at large.
