FDC boss to be discharged in a week President Museveni will swear in

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) President, Retired Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye is expected to be discharged from Nairobi Hospital next week according to reports from his doctors.

The FDC boss has been admitted at Nairobi Hospital in Kenya for a week undergoing treatment after being brutalized by the Uganda security operatives in the walk to work demonstrations against the escalating cost of living.

The report indicates that Besigye has shown a remarkable improvement but still has some sight problems which doctors say will be cleared by next week.

Some Ugandans have a fear that Besigye’s coming from Kenya may coincide with President Museveni swearing in day on May 12 and wonder what will happen again.

Since Besigye left Uganda for treatment in Kenya, all demonstrations that have been carried out by other politician have been peaceful.

Ugandans pray that peace continue prevailing after the coming of Dr. Besigye the main challenger of President Museveni.
