Opposition members of FDC have failed to reach to conclusion on some of the issues concerning the return of Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
In a meeting held at the central police station headquarters with some FDC party officials, police came-up with conditions that will be followed during the welcoming of Besigye from Nairobi were he has been receiving treatment of
Paper sprayed that was splashed in his eyes a week ago near Mulago round about at Kubiri.
Police said Besigye is to make some stopover in selected areas of Kitoro, AbaitaAbabiri, Kajansi, and Kibuye. Police further instructed FDC supporters to use a maximum of three vehicles to collect Besigye from the Airport.
FDC members informed the police that they’re going to have a thanks giving service that they intend to hold at Nakivubo stadium something the police rejected.
The police spokesperson Judith Nabakowa says that police to give them away for the service there is need for some consultations to be made.
Amonger other members who attended the meeting are Hassan Kasigye represented the police, Anney Mugisha and major Kazoora all from the forum for democratic change party.
In a related development opposition supporters of FDC have organized thanks giving services in other parts of the country in the honor of Besigye’s return to the country.
FDC party members in Ibanda district are planning to hold a walk to pray demonstration which will culminate in prayers at St. Paul’s church of Uganda.
