The Prime Minister and leader of Government Business Apollo Nsmbabi has denied the allegations that he ordered deputy premiers, ministers and ministers of state to vacate their offices before their term of office ends as was alleged Mbarara Municipality Hon Arimpa Kigyagi following media reports some time back.

Nsmbabi said he only requested them to write hand over reports and hand them to their permanent secretaries by 12thmay 2011 when their term of office expires.
He added that he also requested them to indicate the scope of their portfolios and complete reaming tasks because after the swearing in of President Museveni the present Government will be dissolved.
He said Kigyagi was being misled by the mass media on issues that had no ground.
