The Uganda Red Cross Society has said that it is in a financial crisis of about 3 billion.
The society’s Chairman, Robert Ssebunya said that the society needs 2.9 billion to work on the pending programs across the country.
Ssebunya was talking at the Red Cross Movement’s celebrations in Mbarara to mark 152 years existence.
In the President’s written report read by the Chief Guest, State Minister for Health James Kazoora, the president promised to give unspecified financial support in the forthcoming financial year.
