The police have exploded teargas canisters to the walking crowds of people escorting the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) boss Dr. Kiiza Besigye from Entebbe airport to Kampala on May 12.
The Military police were dispersing the people who had blocked Entebbe road blocking their guest (Besigye) in a vehicle and other road users due to high excitement.
Besigye’s supporters were stretching from Entebbe to Kampala covering both sides of the two-way Entebbe road.
Dr. Besigye landed at Entebbe airport today after a 2-week treatment in Kenya after the Uganda security operatives sprayed him with pepper and teargas in the eyes and all over the body on April 28 in the walk to work protest against the high prices of food and fuel.
