The Kampala City Executive Director Ms. Jennifer Semakula Musisi has insisted she will discontinue all lazy and incompetent officers at Kampala City Council (KCC).

The city boss says that a lot of anomalies have been done and covered by the former leaders who were political and she is not ready to condone the same.

In her move to get things right, Ms. Semakula has indefinitely suspended two senior engineers on forced leave as she investigates the manners they have been carrying out their duties.

The suspended Engineers are Kinyera otto, the director of Works and Urban Planning and Charles Sembatya, the building inspector and they were suspended by the letters dated May 10 and 11 respectively.

Ms. Semakula explains that Sembatya was suspended because among other things the City council latrines he has been supervising have failed to get finished even after the extension of the deadlines. For Kinyera, the ED says that the quality of work on the city roads is substandard due to poor and inadequate supervision by Eng. Kinyera.

The ED has warned other people who intend to work with her to learn from the suspensions of Kinyera and Semakula.
