A senior pastor of victory outreach church ministries Tomas Ogwok has been arrested for refusing to allow his children vaccinated for polio.

Tomas who lives in the northern district of Aligatong was picked up from his home by police following a tip off by a mobile immunization team.

The pastor claims that a strong covenant between him and his God does not allow him to take his children for immunization.

The ministry of health over the last weekend conducted a month polio immunization campaign in eastern and northern parts of Uganda.
