The former Minister for Security Amama Mbabazi has called upon legislatures to unit and work as team if Uganda is to transform from peasant country to mid income state.
Speaking to journalist at parliament, Mbabazi challenged the 9th parliament to ensure democracy is consolidated so that Ugandan’s can start thinking as one despite the different political affiliations.
Mbabazi also the NRM secretary General says he is confident that the 9th parliament will play a key role in transformation agenda of NRM because it has proper combination of experienced and young who have a political vitality.
