Uganda workers expect better payments after launch of National employment policy

Workers in their labour unions are hoping for better times after government launched the employment policy. The policy that was drafted by labour unions and launched by government will help workers rights are not violated.

The national employment policy will also stimulate government objectives and processes for generating jobs and ensuring better employment environment for all workers.

The chairperson of the national organization of trade unions Auther Wilson Wire says this is a great stride towards the liberation and protection of workers.

He also revealed that the international labour organization has organized a special training session for industrial court judge will be brought to the court.
