Following the mysterious death of Col. Edson Muzoora which even prompted the government to launch investigations into his death, police boss, Maj.Gen. Kare Kayihura reveals that the investigation process will be handled by Interpol.

Kayihura confirms this is based on the fact that Col. Muzoora’s death might not have taken place in Uganda which now calls for cross border investigations to have thorough evidence in the matter.

Col. Muzoora was last week found dumped at his home by unknown people who are still at large following a nine year absence.

The government had put Col. Muzoora, a UPDF deserter on the wanted list and linked him to be among the commanders of shadowy rebel group People’s Redemption Army which allegedly operates from neighbouring Democratic republic of Congo.
