The World Bank has called for the effective use of allocated funds for better service delivery that will improve the lives of Ugandans.
The call was made by the outgoing World Bank country manager Kundhavi Kadiresan after Fiannce MInister Maria Kiwanuka read read the budget for the 2011/2012 financial year.
She says there is excitement on how much money is allocated to the respective key sectors but sometimes that funds are not well untilised.
Kandivi who has served in Uganda for three years says government should focus on improvement of the country’s infrastructure with urgencysince it is a leading factor in the growth of the country’s economy.
