As we are about to end the year since the Somali-based Al-Shabab hit Kampala, the survivors want to be declared heroes and heroines by the government.
On July 11, 2010 the Al-Shabab detonated high magnitude bombs in the Ethiopian bar in Kabalaga and Lugogo Show Ground killing about 80 and injuring over 70 people while they were watching the screened World Cup soccer finals in South Africa.
Ramadhan Muzamiru a survivor told the journalists on June 17 that they were injured due to laxity in government security and they were watching an important global event therefore the government should declare them heroes and heroines.
Muzamiru says that since they have remained permanently physically handicapped the government should put the survivors on stipend.
