Vasta Muzora the wife to renegade UPDF soldier late colonel Edison Muzora has been arrested. Vasta was pick-up from her home in Kyabagombi by plain cloth detective security officers and whisked her off to Makenka barracks in Mbarara.

Her arrest was affected of Sunday following the detention of two senior FDC officials William Mukaira the Bushenyi district FDC chairman and doctor Aggrey Byamukama a senior FDC official in Mbarara.

Vasta Muzora’s was arrested together with three retired UPDF officers. The group is accused of hiding Col. Edison Muzora until he died on May 27 2011. Col. Muzora’s body was found dumped at the entrance to his home by unknown people.

However the chief commander of the police forces Kale Kanyaihura called for investigation from the Interpol to ascertain the death of the renegade Col. Edison Muzora.
