The speaker of parliament has warned members of parliament against SACCO loan schemes that have left many MPs deeply indebited.

Kadaga was on Monday speaking during post election seminar for members of parliament. She has advised the new members of parliament to first establish the actual earning before taking hesitated decision in accepting attractive loans offer.

She says parliament has the duty to protect them from scam and conmen.

Some members of parliament have been in the past been jailed over failure to pay back a cumulated debts.
