Do not let the love for US dollars bring you in trouble, as the dollars you exchange for your local currency could be fake.

The police in Uganda have arrested Dijodo Ekou Eten 34years in possession of over 1billion counterfeit dollars in Kampala.

Police spokesperson Idd Ibn Ssenkumbi confirms the arrest saying the suspect is among the racket of the many which police is hunting for dealing in counterfeit dollars which they sell to some of the banks through fraudulent employees adding that banks fear to expose these losses in fear of losing clients.

Ssenkumbi says the suspect is an Ivorian national working with a string of other local and international fraudstars.

The Police cautions the public to be vigilant over such thieves who now enter the country through neighboring countries disguising as traders in genuine products yet they are fraudsters.
