Political analysts are warning that south Sudan the newly born country in Africa could suffer increased cases of corruption due to absence of established institutions.
South Sudan gained her its independence over the weekend on 9th July 2011 from the great Sudan becoming the 54th nation in Africa.
The country however begins her journey with numerous challenges including corruption that is reported rampant especially in the Oil sector.
A senior political analyst at Makerere University in Kampala Uganda Dr. Fredrick Golooba Mutebi says the lack of developed accountability institutions in the country create an opportunity for corruption to flourish in the country.
He called for the proper management of the economy that will largely depend on well established institutions but should help minimize such vices.
