The National Female youth MP Monica Amoding has pledged to spend her time trying to address the current challenges affecting the youth.
She made the pledges after being elected as the chairperson of the parliamentary forum for youth where she replaced the former female youth MP Mariam Nalubega.
She says that she is going to focus on handling issues related to unemployment, and focusing on improving education curriculum. She also said that she is going to focus on strengthening the different skills for the youth.
Amoding says that the youth need to be prepared in terms of social well being and therefore that is what she is going to focus on as the chairperson of the youth forum.
The outgoing chairperson of the forum Mariam Nalubega tasked the incoming executive to work together with the outgoing executive members for continuity. She said that the youth have a lot of challenges but with unity they can be overcome. She however said that a lot has be done in terms of representation and budgeting.
