Butaleja district woman mp Serina Nebanda has opposed the president’s plans for denying bail to rioters, murderers and defilers suspects.
In an interview Nebanda says that denying bail to suspects means that the courts of laws are not providing fair hearing to both sides and this means that some innocent people will stay in jail.
She also said that the suggestion was not brought in good faith saying that its targeting politicians.
Nebanda says that the way of solving problems in Uganda should not only be amending the constitution saying that there should be other means of solving the problems.
She says that those who came up with the constitution first consulted and they came up what people wanted. She says that she is waiting for the proposal to come to the flow of parliament but says that she is ready to oppose it.
