Wakiso woman MP Rosemary Seninde condemned government for setting up a wrong precedent that for government to listen to people’s needs they have to first demonstrate.
This follows recent strikes by traders and taxi drivers over wide ranging grievances that have later attracted the attention of the government.
Seminde says that government should learn to always come out and listen to the people’s demands before things reach at a demonstration level.
She also appealed to government to look into taxes and fuel so as to bring down the commodity prices saying that is the only thing that stop the ongoing demonstrations.
