Police in Kamuli has arrested four people in connection with the ritual sacrifice of a woman. The suspects three men and one woman are accused of beheading an indentified woman in Kayunga district.

The suspects have been identified as Angela, Kyakanga Robert, Kagambe Aggrey, and Mpangi hardson Rugoheirwe village in Bulamuti sub-county. They were arrested after a tip off by residents.

The residents told police that they heard a screaming from the suspect’s shrine. Kamuli police commander Musa Nabende say on Thursday police recovered a bottle f fresh blood from the suspects’ shrine.

The body was however nowhere to be seen. The district police commander says the matter is under investigation.
