Youth intending to go for professional courses have been challenged to take up new courses which are on job market demand to avoid being unemployed.

The call was made by the principal Kampala international college Ronald Sekabira while briefing journalists in Kampala on the upcoming first graduation of 200 students in this institute.

He said that part of the cause of unemployment among the youth is because they go for course, which has been around for many years and their jobs are still occupied by the old people.

He said that the institute has introduced a course in waste management to enable the course graduate make power out of garbage to help government in getting enough power to avert the long power crisis in the country and making fertilizer from the urban garbage.
